Whenever I would tell a joke, she would roll her eyes at me and made us laugh. She was a ray of sunshine. I will miss her.

Molly was the sweetest and funniest friend I have ever wanted! I loved playing UNO with her and it makes me laugh when she gets one of her players so that she can win. I loved having her as a best friend in Unified Basketball and I'm really sad to see her go! I love you forever Molly! Rest in Peace in heaven! To the Hendershot Family, I am so sorry for your loss! If you need anything, please let me know. Sending prayers to you!!!

I very much enjoyed skiing with Molly! She always had a positive attitude and was fun to crack jokes with on the ski lift. I personally experienced Molly grow as a skier and loved seeing the joy she had with it! Seeing Molly at skiing always brightened my day. This news saddens me and I will miss Molly very much. Sending my thoughts and prayers to Molly and her family. -Zach Nelson

I am So sorry for your loss. Molly was with me on the buses the past 5 years. She ALWAYS made us smile and laugh. This year our trips to Lollipop Farm in the morning were Full of singing and heavy chat about what animal we wanted to take home that day. Some cold winter mornings when none of us wanted to be up & out Molly
would just rest her head on my shoulder and wrap her arm around mine and fall asleep. Molly so sweet, so precious and so full of love and smiles… I will miss you
Rest easy Molly
Your family is in our thoughts and Prayers

The last few weeks of school I recently reconnected with Molly. throughout middle school and the beginning of high school I had the joy of having Molly in my gym class. Molly was the nicest person I have ever met. And the kindest person I’ve ever met. And although her first tickle fight was quite unprecedented, I always enjoyed getting or giving Molly a hug. Molly knew what she loved and will be greatly missed by everyone. I’m glad I had the honor of sitting and talking/ drawing with Molly the last couple weeks of school. And although I was not able to receive or give hugs due to Covid I think Molly knew how much I enjoyed spending time with her. I express My deepest condolences go out to mollys friends and family throughout these hard times

Dear Hendershot Family, I don't know you but my son, Luke rode the bus with Molly and was her teammate on the Unified Basketball Team. My husband often joked around with her and the other kids on bus when he got Luke on and off. We went to the basketball games and cheered everyone on. Those games brought us so much joy because of all the happiness in the gym. You couldn't help feeling joyful when you watched our kiddos play. No matter what had transpired during the day we always left feeling lighter, happier. We will miss seeing Molly's sweet smile. Luke also has an epilepsy diagnosis and it's such a tough thing to live with. A fine balance between wanting to protect him from anything bad happening as a result of a seizure and letting him live his best life. Knowing that in reality every moment is a gift. We will continue to fight for better treatments and a possible cure from this unforgiving disorder. Our hearts break for you. Please know that we are keeping all of you close in our thoughts and prayers.
Much love,
The Ball Family

Dear Hendershot family ,
I am deeply sorry for your loss, I just found out tonight over FaceTime with my friend Taylor Logan from Camp Eagr epilepsy pralid camp. I was Molly’s CIT in this photo and I was 17 and she was 9 in this photo. I remember when I was her counselor and she loved tickling me, she had the biggest heart and gave the greatest hugs . I remember being overjoyed when I was her counselor she was such a good kid and always was there for you without even having to say anything. I remember her laugh and her smile and her kindness towards everyone. I remember when I had her in my cabin we were at the dining hall she was seizing while chewing stopped seizing them swallowed her food from that moment I knew she was a fighter . I remember another time when a counselor came and got me at the camp dance and they told me molly was seizing to I guitar slid to her on the dance floor in the camp barn and had her head on my lap I checked her pulse , said molly can yoU hear me then she squeezed my hand and grinned and hugged me when I helped her stand up . She truly left a mark on my heart and I was glad to be her role model having been born with epilepsy myself. I know how hard it was to deal with epilepsy. No matter what hardship she faced she never gave up and always had a smile on her face. She was a light in my life and to us all .

Molly was the first student who greeted my 8th grade student as we practiced going to the high school from Barker. My student was nervous. Molly was welcoming, kind, and a great role model for the students in the class. Her acceptance and inclusion of others was amazing and something I love about her. I will miss seeing her face light up as new friends entered the room. A purple candle for Ms. Molly.
