Mr. Baxter was a great neighbor. We miss him so much. One memory we have is around Christmas time. We heard a knock on the door and when we answered, it was Mr. Baxter holding 2 gifts for each of my children. He had brought my son a tiger ornament personalized with his name on it and a princess ornament for my daughter with her name on it. Every year when we put up our ornaments, we think of that day and of Mr. B. He was so very thoughtful and kind and a wonderful neighbor and friend. We send our heartfelt condolences to his family.

Laurie and Scott,
I'm remembering your handsome dad as a smart and kind gentleman who was always there for his family. Whether we were playing Chutes and Ladders at your kitchen table or listening in fascination to the player piano in the garage, both your parents always made me feel so welcome in your home when I was a child. Such happy memories of those days!

We enjoyed talking with Carl at meetings of The Photographic Historical Society. He was interested in photography and in old cameras. May God comfort his family.

Carlton lived across the street from my family about 80 years ago. Older than I was, he came and went when I occasionally stopped to visit his mother when I cut through his back yard on my way home from grade school (she often had cookies!). I thought he was so handsome.
Reading the obituary, I can't help but think of how proud Mrs. Baxter would have been of him.
Rest In Peace.

My memory of Carl is of a quiet and gentle man with a beautiful smile (whose collection of player piano rolls always amazed me). My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Love, Holly Bauer-Mergen

I always enjoyed spendig time with Carl, Ellen, and his family. Besides being a brilliant researcher at Kodak, I remember being amazed by the fact that he was part human computer and part magician. Whenever we were discussing a subject he would invariably reach into his dress shirt pocket and pull an index card out with all of the pertinent facts and figures on that subject....How did he do that?
You will be missed, Rick Martin
