John E. Karpen

Rochester - John passed away suddenly on September 6, 2022. Jack, as he was known, and his wife, Judy, moved to Rochester so Jack could attend RIT and get his degree in photography. Upon graduation, he began teaching photography at RIT and continued teaching for 40 years.

Jack is survived by his wife, Judy; feline companions, Rusty and Butterbean; and his long-time friends, Venus and Marilyn Soto.
