Obituary of Carol Austin-Kurtz

PITTSFORD - Passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at the age of 80, following a succession of medical issues. She is survived by her husband, Donald Kurtz, son, John Austin (Colleen), and stepsons Robert (Katie) and David (Kyle) Kurtz; brother Jack Heater( Beverly); grandchildren, Reed and Cole Austin, and Demi and Lyndi Kurtz. Carol was a caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother and beloved by her many friends. Calling hours will be at the Harloff Funeral Home, 803 S. Washington St., E. Rochester from 1-3pm on Friday, Jan. 20, 2023. A Celebration of Carol’s life followed by a reception will be held on January 21, 2023,1:00 pm at the Edgewood Free Methodist Church (former Pittsford YMCA), 111 E. Jefferson Rd., Pittsford. In lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions to Lollypop Farm or the American Lung Assoc.
