I met Sandy at Strong Memorial Hospital where we worked together. We became good friends. She was one of the kindest, warmest, funniest and most honest people I've ever met. Just by being around her would bring a smile to my face, she could always cheer me up.
Her dedication to her cats, however, was the stuff of legend. I believe she had eleven at one point. None of them ever missed a meal or a veterinary appointment.
She also loved to talk. A typical phone conversation would be 95% Sandy and 5% me.
I even adopted one of her cats. She would say, "John I have the perfect cat for you". And she was right.
I have been bossed around by Olive for over 10 years, and she is a fantastic cat.
She would always close a phone call by saying, "kiss Olive for me". I always will Sandy
I Love you Sandy and I really miss you.
