FAIRPORT - age 83, after a brief illness. Mary was born in 1939 in Rochester, New York, the daughter of Fred Sweeney and Mary Aubin-Sweeney. Survived by her daughters, Karen Seidel (Wade Daley) and Susan Seidel Reynolds (Rhonda Crum); grandsons, Matthew Reynolds, Johnathan Reynolds, Justin Karnisky, and Cole Karnisky; and her brother Charles Sweeney. Mary worked for Kodak during its heyday and had fond memories of her job there. She was a devoted, kind, and patient stay-at-home mother for many years. Later she worked for several years at Chubb Insurance where she greeted everyone with a smile. Mary was an accomplished singer and sang in the choir at St. Jerome’s Church in East Rochester from her childhood into the 1960s, and in the choir at St. Thomas More Church for over 15 years. She was a volunteer at the Fairport Baptist Home for 8 years. Friends may call Friday, February 3, 4:00-8:00pm at Harloff Funeral Home, 803 South Washington St, East Rochester. Funeral services to be held Saturday, February 4, at 10:30am at St. Thomas More Church, 2617 East Ave, Rochester. Interment at White Haven Memorial Park.
