Also survived by her much-loved sister-in-law Betty Chudyk, and many dear nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her beloved Sam; her father and mother, Andrew & Mary Chudyk, brothers Michael, Nick and Walter Chudyk; sister, Anne Kreger. Also predeceased by her daughter-in-law Jean Morano, and her best friend, Shirley Witken.   Marian graduated East Rochester High School, and completed a degree in chemistry from Alfred Technical College at the age of 19.  She worked initially as a lab tech and phlebotomist at the former Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester and Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.  She also worked as a research assistant in the laboratory at Strong, but gave up her career in science to marry Sam and raise their seven children in East Rochester. In later years she worked for Off Track Betting Corporation, and retired from New York State in 1992.   Marian was an amazing mother and grandmother, a wonderful friend, a faithful Catholic, a delighted sports fan. She loved to play the horses, and she especially loved to win.    "Marian’s family gratefully acknowledges the devoted care of the medical residents and nursing teams at Rochester General Hospital; the nursing and care teams on Faith-5 and Friendship 2East at Monroe Community Hospital; and the compassion and care of Dr. Charis Lee, and Sara Dalton NP." Friends may call SUNDAY, April 21, 2-4 and 7-9 at the HARLOFF Funeral Home 803 South Washington Street in East Rochester. Marian's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am on MONDAY, April 22 at St. Jerome’s Church in East Rochester. Interment in White Haven Memorial Park.
