Carmelo Bellavia of East Rochester passed away on March 9, 2023 at age 72. Carmelo is survived by his wife of 53 years, Venera Bellavia; children, Lillian (Gianluca) Isopi, Franco Bellavia and Loredana (Jeffrey) Glanton; grandchildren, Ariana, Alexander and Anthony; siblings, Giovanni Bellavia, Renato (Paula) Bellavia and Assuntina Bellavia (Giovanni). He is also survived by his wife's family. His mother-in-law, Giovanna Parinello; siblings-in-law, Ignazio (Sara) Provvidenza, Giuseppe (Maria) Provvidenza, Salvatore (Bernadina) Provvidenza and Marianna Provvidenza; multiple nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Francesco and Calogera Arnone Bellavia; sister, Maria Bellavia; brother, Calogero Bellavia; father-in-law, Antonio Provvidenza and brother-in-law, Piero Aqualina.

There will be no calling hours for Carmelo. Family and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Wednesday, March 15th, 10:00am in St. Jerome's Church, 207 Garfield St., East Rochester NY. His entombment will follow in White Haven Memorial Park. Those wishing to honor his memory with a charitable donation are asked to do so to a charity of your choice.
