Obituary of Carol Lee Branski
East Rochester: March 17, 2023 at age 79. Predeceased by her parents, Walter and Stella. Survived by brother, Robert (Irene) Branski of CA; twin sister Barbara Branski of Rochester; nephew Michael (Paula) Branski of Texas, nieces Mia Dolak, Renee (Dan) Johnson, Kristina (Randy) Baker, 5 great nephews, Jack & Seth Dolak, Zachary Baker, Xavier & Leo Johnson & great niece Delaney Baker all of CA; extended family Ginny & Rosie Marafioti, Glenna Mauk, Jean Vandenberghe, 46 first cousins and her cockers Jingles and Rosie.
Carol’s first job was with Fanny Farmer followed by Small Box Factory, Eastman Kodak Company, 18 years at Singer, Harris and retired from BOCES as a bus driver.
She played the saxophone in high school and later played on a women’s softball team. She very much enjoyed bowling, boating, fishing, bingo and doing jigsaw puzzles.
Carol organized the Joslin yearly family reunion for over 20 years which included raffles, auctions, kids games with prizes, softball games, etc.
There were plenty of poker games with family and countless hours playing the board game Aggravation. She loved dogs and had a poodle, St. Bernard and several cocker spaniels.
In retirement she enjoyed TV Westerns and soap operas but most of all she loved football with the Bills and baseball with her NY Yankees. Often she watched a Yankee game a second time the next day.
She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of having her in their life.
A celebration of her life will be held on May 26.
