Norma Mae Wood Lansdowne joined her loved ones in Heaven on June 25th while a resident at Monroe Community Hospital. Norma was born in Groton, NY, on December 14, 1926 to Fannie and Howard Wood. She married Gerald Gene Lansdowne in Homer, NY, on November 8, 1945. This wonderful couple were blessed with four daughters Cheryl (Rick) Glidden, Canton, NY; Donna (Jim) Coleman, East Rochester, NY; Debbie (Tracy) Pyles, Churchville, VA; And Karen (Mark) O’Donnell, Fairport, NY. Norma and Gerry enjoyed their nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and loved spending time with them. Norma was a devoted Mom and friend to many and cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Norma loved to crochet, cook special dinners for her family, was an avid reader and loved to win at Rummy. Calling hours will be June 28th at the Harloff Funeral Home, 803 South Washington Street, East Rochester, NY from 4 PM to 7PM. Norma’s Celebration of Life will be held at the East Rochester United Methodist Church, 357 Fairport Road at 1 PM on June 29th.
