Dear Marilyn & family,
I am so saddened to hear of Freddie’s passing. While I had only spoken with Fred occasionally since the pandemic closed everything down I was grateful that we stayed in touch. I have very fond memories of the times that Freddy came to Fairfield’s on the evenings that I worked to keep me company while I closed up the place. A true gentleman & a genuinely kind hearted persons. RIP Fred.

So sad to hear that Fred had passed. He was a wonderful man. He helped my husband Bill so much with his golf. He has Fred to thank for making him a great golfer. I also took golf lessons from Fred. I think I frustrated him but, he was a great teacher. We will miss you Fred very much. Bill and Kathy Pierce

Twenty years ago I was at Chili golf course trying to hit a golf club with instructions from my husband. Freddy came over to us and said to me don't ever let your husband give you lessons. In about 10 minutes he had me hitting a ball so good! My husband couldn't believe it. So for the past 20 years Freddy had to put up with me. I'm a pretty tough student. Freddy talked about his family. I felt like I knew them all. I got to meet Marilyn 9 years ago when my husband died. She is a great lady. I just finally met all of his children at his funeral. He has such a beautiful family. God is so good. I will sure miss him!
