Hilton-August 26, 2023 at the age of 81. Don was predeceased by his father, Earl (Del) Slater, mother, Dorothy Merritt, and sister Carol Peer. He is survived by his two sons, Richard (Jen) Slater and Kevin Slater; one grandson, Sam Slater; brother, Dave (Cecile) Slater and sister, Julie (Steve) Watts; and dear friend, Jim "Hawk" Hawkins.

Family and friends are invited to an interment service with military honors for Don on Friday, September 8 at 12:00 pm at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford. Please meet at the entrance by 11:50 a.m.
