Patricia Ann Hartman, 77, passed away unexpectedly at her home on August 31st, 2023.
Patty was the 3rd of 6 children, born on January 3, 1946, to the late Edward and Helen Hartman. She is also predeceased by her brother, Richard Hartman, and sister, Catherine Smart.
She is survived by her only child, Jaime (William) Miller; 5 grandchildren, Hannah, Alexander, Anisah, Ryan and Elijah; sisters; Janet (William) Barry, Dona (Chuck) Kavanagh, Karen (Mark) Kelly and a niece and several nephews as well as extended family.
Patty’s favorite pastimes included reading, puzzles, Facebook and the occasional trip to the casino. She enjoyed the warmth of Florida and could talk for hours about her adventures working at the Post Office for over 35 years.
Best of all, she loved her grandchildren beyond measure. Her grandchildren could count on her to be at every school function and football game.
She loved all of her family immensely and was extremely proud of her Polish heritage.
Life has been forever changed for her child and grandchildren and she will be missed more than she could have ever imagined.
Calling hours will be on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 4-7 pm at Harloff Funeral Home, 803 S. Washington St., East Rochester. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 9 at noon, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
