Obituary of Gabriel J Zanche Sr.

In loving memory of Gabriel J Zanche Sr who passed away December 20th, 2023. He grew up in East Rochester, NY, and after graduating from East Rochester High School, he went on to earn his degree from Niagara University. He always had a passion for being in business and in 1964 he started a contract cleaning company that quickly grew into selling cleaning products. In time, the company grew into being one of the first mat rental and cleaning companies as well as developing and selling high performance products all over the US. His love for teaching and helping others led to creating training systems and distance learning programs to improve the industry’s understanding and technical expertise. His field experience, energy, and passion for the clients he served, and people met throughout the years fostered many relationships and friendships that remain to this day. Gabe is predeceased by his parents, Emilio and Rose, siblings, Joe and Mary, and wife, Rosemarie. He is survived by his sister, Arlene, children, Lori (Calvin), Pam Steve), Gabriel Jr, and Mike (Michelle), partner Johnelle, and his many deeply loved grandchildren. His family is as large as his heart and we all miss him very, very much. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 26 from 4-7 p.m. at Harloff Funeral Home, 803 South Washington Street, East Rochester. Gabriels's Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, December 27, 10:00 a.m., St. Jerome's Church, 207 Garfield Street, East Rochester. Entombment will be at White Haven Memorial Park.
