Obituary of Patricia O Coleman

Patricia Owen Coleman joined her loved ones in Heaven on December 21st while in the care of hospice at The Baptist Home at the age of 83. Pat was born in Albany, New York, on April 22, 1940, to Jane and George Owen. Patricia married James Coleman in East Rochester, New York, on December 3, 1994. Previously Pat had been married to Willian Andrews who passed away in December of 1990. After getting her bachelor’s degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology, Pat went into the travel business. She enjoyed both making travel arrangements for her clients as well as traveling herself. Her favorite destination was China but, she traveled all over the world. In her spare time, Pat enjoyed making stained glass. She used to display and sell her pieces at craft shows throughout the greater Rochester area. Pat was a wonderful cook and thoroughly enjoyed cooking and baking – her pecan pie was outstanding! Pat is predeceased by her mother,Jane; her father, George; her brother, George, Jr.; her first husband, William; and her second husband, James. Pat’s celebration of life will be held at the East Rochester United Methodist Church, 357 Fairport Road in East Rochester at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 28th. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the East Rochester United Methodist Church.
