My sincerest condolences for you all. You have my deepest sympathy. Wishing you peace, comfort, courage, and lots of love at this time of sorrow. My heart goes out to you all at this difficult time.
High Flight by John Gillespie Magee
Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I’ve climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds, – and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of – wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov’ring there,
I’ve chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air…
Up, up the long, delirious burning blue
I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, or ever eagle flew –
And, while with silent, lifting mind I’ve trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

I will be thinking of you today as you lay my beautiful cousin, Anne Marie, to rest.
I have so many wonderful memories of her. It is so fitting that she died on the Feast Day of the Holy Family! She loved her family!
Rest in peace, precious Anne Marie!

I am so thankful to have re-connected to my Auntie Anne Marie in 1999! I enjoyed her stories of my Dad Tom & learning about our extended family! We always had lots of laughs & love to share! We spent time together in Pittsford & she came to visit me in California! I will always cherish the memories we made!!

I grew up in East Rochester and besides being her paperboy when she lived on Country Club, I was a close friend of her brother Tom and was best man at his wedding. We reconnected in the late nineties and began socializing with her at that time.
My wife Marie and I have many fond memories of Anne. Summer picnics at her home in Waterloo, lunches at the Coal Tower in Pittsford, frequent visits to her Pittsford home and the wonderful and spirited conversations we used to have will be missed.
Her infectious smile and wonderful sense of humor is her lasting legacy for Marie and I.
