Obituary of Patricia Ann Papa

On the 9th of April we lost our beautiful mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, step-mother, friend and neighbor. She was predeceased by our wonderful step-dad / dad, Joseph Papa on January 12th 2024. Joe and Patricia are loved by all who knew them and we mourn their loss. They are both missed dearly by Patricia's children, Thomas Smith and Kelly Kralles (Karl); Joe's children, David Papa (Jay), Sandra Papa, Lorie Roethel (Bob) and Gail Kucharik (John); grandchildren, Kristofer Kralles (Jessica), Kevin Kralles (Ashley) Kameron Kralles (Hailey) and Kyle Smith; great grandchildren, Karson and Kassidy Kralles; brother, Rexford Brown (Sharon); sisters, Debbie Venor (Jerry) and Karen Grip and many nieces and nephews. Patricia and Joe found each other in the 70's. An era that included disco, dancing, parties galore and Parents Without Partners. For 47 years they were never apart. They loved traveling together alone and with friends. They went on bus trips and cruises and regaled the family with many stories time and time again. The family asked Pat to write about their trips and have enjoyed reading about their adventures. There are no words to describe the loss of both so close together. May they go forward in peace and ease. They will never be forgotten. Per their request, Pat and Joe are to be buried together in St. Mary's Cemetery in Fairport. Family and friends are invited to visit at Harloff Funeral Home on Monday June 10th from 4:00pm until 7:00pm.
