Dear Grandma, I just want to let you, you played a very special part in my life. I miss and love you so much. I keep listening to all your voicemail messages and that’s what keep me smiling. It was my pleasure taking care of you. Every morning was so beautiful with you! The way you did your makeup, the way you we had breakfast, the way we worked on word games, the list can go on and on. Thank you for being my teacher. I learned so much from you. I will never forget you. My mother, my Grandmother, my bff. I will miss all our long talks. I will miss all your calls, especially the ones on Fridays when you knew it was your hair appointment day. I love you, Lillian. Yodit

Although I did not know Ms. Bonanni personally or for too long, her lively, sweet, passionate, loving spirit radiated through Zoom calls with her and her daughter and through stories from her daughter. Ms. Bonanni is missed and the loss is felt by so many, but her spirit is still with us and will forever remain with us and her family.

I worked with Ms. Bonanni's daughter, Ms. Stefanie Balandis, and just from witnessing the passion that Stef has for helping others, I could see how wonderful of a person Ms. Bonanni was. She had an amazing impact on the world through her work and her family. I am inspired by Stef's incredible work ethic and heart, surely gifts that she has received from her mother. Ms. Bonnani's influence continues to this day and will continue forever through all the lives that she's touched, both directly and indirectly.
