Mary Ann was genuinely interested in everyone she came in contact with. She offered love, compassion, generousity, and a beautiful smile that lit up a room. She made a point of making people feel valued. I will miss you, and know you are in the presence of God and the angels. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family and friends as you are so dearly missed.

MaryAnn was placed on this earth to be of service to others. This is what she did for the entire 50 years of our marriage. And... she did it with the utmost of class. Never seeking attention or any kind of recognition for her kind gestures, often, I would find out from those who benefitted from her generosity. She rarely informed me unless it was something she knew I believed in too. She used the American Express gift matching program to its limit. She had a special kindness, a special grace about her. Her listening skills far exceeded her talking skills. When you spoke to her, she looked right at you and you knew she was listening empathically and that she understood everything you said. Her love of people was a special gift. Her love for her immediate and extended family was almost an obsession.I will always cherish our years together and remember all the great times. There were many!
I am sure the good Lord will welcome her with open arms and she will become the great role model in heaven that she was on earth!

Mary Ann worked for many years as a Speech-Language Pathologist for Monroe 1 BOCES. She was the consummate professional and held herself to the highest standards. She was kind, encouraging, and effective with her students and she was generous and supportive to the teachers with whom she worked. Mary Ann had an elegance that was evident wherever she went.God bless her and watch over her family.

My sincere condolences to the entire Del Plato family. Not a bad bone in her body. To know her was to love her and you were the better for having both!

Such a beautiful lady taken too soon. Mary Ann always saw the best in everyone. In my days as a young mother she would build up my confidence with her special loving words. You will forever be missed.

Our sympathy to the family. We had the pleasure to know Mary Ann for the past several years. She shared her laughter and wonderful cooking and baking with all of our neighbors. She had such a kind and loving spirit. May the family be comforted knowing she was a woman of faith who loved Christ and his teaching.
With Prayers,
Kathleen and Bob Ouellette
