Joe was the center of all the action no matter the occasion. In this painting party, it appears everyone was prepared to paint, except Joe, who was probably “managing” the crew!

I will always remember coming over or going to family reunions, seeing Joe, and he would always put me on his lap and rub my back and talk with me . He would always give me a big kiss and big hug. He will be miss terribly. Also, he always smelled nice with his cologne, and always leading us in songs.JOE I LOVE AND WILL MISS YOU TERRIBLY. RIP MY FAVORITE COUSIN IN LAW. Have a great time in heaven with Lou, Chuck, and all our family members. I'm sure that they all welcomed you in open arms.

Joe and I shared many good times. Often they involved singing with the Adult Folk Group. Many Masses, R and Rs, parties. How he remembered all those words was amazing. My favorite memory was when we visited his dad’s nursing home and Joe sang the Whiffenpoof Song with his dad. There wasn’t a dry eye in the place,

Memories of Joe include so many happy years of him participating in the St. Joseph’s Folk Group singing and partying. We loved his beautiful guide dogs Wendy and Laurie! I was occasionally his substitute “date” when Barbara or Judy were unavailable for events. There was never a waitress that got away without a hug from him. May his eternal journey bring visions of glory, peace and love.
