Obituary of Rebecca A. Friedman

Rebecca Lane Friedman. age 75, of Rochester, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on June 15, 1949, Becky was the beloved daughter of Jack W. Lane and Mary Alice Lane. Becky is predeceased by her daughter, Christina Mary Walbridge (Jason Walbridge). She is survived by her longtime companion, Doug English, and her siblings, Randy Lane (Peggy Lane), Robert Lane (Linda Lane), Keith Lane, Juliann Lane Cerra (Ed Cerra), and Jacqueline Lane (Tom Burns). She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews who will dearly miss her. Becky spent her early years in East Rochester and later made Rochester her home for many decades. She was known for her kind heart and unwavering spirit throughout her life. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no calling hours. A brief service will be held at the gravesite with immediate family only, honoring Becky's desire for simplicity and closeness among loved ones. Becky will be deeply missed and remembered fondly by all who knew her. Her strength and love leave an indelible mark on those whose lives she touched.
