East Rochester, New York. SUSAN JANE DIEGO, aged 98, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2024, in the Palliative Care Wing of Strong Memorial

Hospital. A private burial occurred on July 23, 2024 at White Haven Memorial Park.

Susan was predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard Joseph Diego and son, Richard “Dick” Diego. Susan is survived by her beloved children, Sue Ann (Peter)Harris, Jane Diego (Jay Shaw), James Diego and James (Susan) Buchanan; her beloved grandchildren, Christopher Harris, Jeremy (Vicki) Fioravanti, Katharine (Chris) Hodges, Peter J. (Natalie) Harris, Elizabeth (Colin) Bauer, Emily Diego (Kevin Jayson) and Sara Diego; 9 great grandchildren; and her beloved cat, Pierce.

A Memorial Mass will be held on September 5, 2024 @ 11:00 am at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church, East Rochester, New York. The family requests that if you would

like to honor Susan’s memory, you consider a donation to either the East Rochester Fire Dept. or the Palliative Care Program of the University of Rochester Medical
