It is heavy heart we announce the passing of our mother, Shirley Schell, of East Rochester, New York. Shirley is predeceased by her daughter, Linda Gould, and brother, Donald.

She was born and grew up in Rochester, New York. Our mom moved to East Rochester about 40 years ago. Due to her poor health, she has been living in a senior housing development in Victor for the past five years. While living in East Rochester, she attended Saint Jerome’s Church quite often.

Shirley leaves behind her children, Scott Schell, Kathleen Schell; her sister, Carol who lives in Florida with husband, Bob.

She will be dearly missed by many friends and family. We ask in lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Lollypop Farm or the East Rochester Resource Center.
