Growing up across from the LaDelfa family , my family would always intermingle with the whole family. We would call each parent, MOM and Dad,I had a twin brother Frank that Rus would hang around with. When Frank joined the Marines, Rus decided he had to also. When Frank died I told Rus, I missed having a twin brother, so Russ agreed to be my adopted twin brother and I will always remember that kind kind gesture. I know now that the two are sharing stories together.

Oh I am so shocked and sad, I just found out today about this. Rusty was a he closest person to Frankie and I just loved him so much for that.. Somehow just seeing Rusty always gave me comfort.. I know he is with Frank now and I’m sure they are sharing good times.. We've been friends with Russ since our high-school days at ERHS. Russ served as Best Man on our wedding day, and will always be remembered as a kind and caring man for all. We will always cherish our times through rock bands, Spartan Fraternity, and his persistence in getting us together as a couple in high school. Our deepest sympathy to Marie and his loving family. Heaven gained an amazing man….. we all lost an amazing man! Russelino…was a wonderful father, husband, grandfather and so much more. He was a hero to so many people that loved him. He was the best friend! I loved this man. I hope they have homemade pizza in heaven that you will love as much as mine! I will miss you always.

To Anna, Liz, Marie, Judy...and all those who knew and loved Russ.... Please accept our heartfelt condolences as you go through the process of grieving him and accepting that he is gone...but definitely never forgotten. He was a great guy and will be missed by so many. He always had a smile and a kind word to everyone he ran into. His love for Anna and Liz was beyond measure and the pride he felt for them shone in his eyes every time he looked at them. The words in the obituary were so touching and beautiful. What a beautiful tribute to a man who meant so much to so many. My heart goes out to Russell’s entire family at this difficult time. Russell was a kind, thoughtful and all around good man. I had the honor of coming to know Russell through the many Mercy Flight Sock Hops I helped put together as well as working at the UR and seeing Russell at work, always being greeted by his huge smile and happy spirit. Have thought of Russell over the years and always with much respect and goodness. May he be resting in peace and may all who knew and loved Russell be comforted by the memories and love they shared. My sincere condolences to Marie and the entire LaDelfa family. Russ was a true patriot and gentleman, we grew up together in the village of East Rochester and were original members of our high school fraternity "The Spartans". His service to our country, his dedication to family and friends and his love of God, never went unnoticed. He will be missed, but always in our hearts. RIP my friend.
