Obituary of Leora V. Donadoni

LEORA V. DONADONI Passed away on September 8. She battled a highly progressive form of Lymphoma. She is the daughter of Lena(Edelman), George(Richmond), and sister of Lloyd who have already passed. She is survived by KITTY, her four daughters, Kristine(Marshall), Doreen(DiSchino), Bernadette(Stevens), and Teresa(Kaucher). Four son in laws, Christoph, Patrick, William, Kurt(deceased). Three grandchildren Angelic(Ward) of West Palm Beach, FL, Kyle&Melanie (Kaucher) of Connecticut. Also her neice Cheryl and nephew Ray of San Francisco, CA. She was born and raised in East Rochester. Graduated in 1944. Married in 1947 (Lindo). Worked for many years at (formerly) Penfield Nursing Home and Town Gate East, as a cook. Ten years before her retirement at age 75 she worked in the deli at Wegmans in East Rochester. She always continued her faith by volunteering at St. Jerome's church in the Rosary Society while her children attended the school. Father Louis Edelman of the Pittsford parish was her uncle. The family would like to thank all of the staff at the Hildebrant hospice in Greece for the tender loving care they showed the last few days of her life. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to them so they may continue the exceptional care in the future. Friends may call Wednesday 10-11 am at HARLOFF FUNERAL HOME, 803 South Washington Street in East Rochester, followed by her funeral service. Interment at Pittsford Cemetery.
