Obituary of Mildred C. White

White, Mildred (Callaham) Mildred C. White, 87, formerly of Anderson, SC, currently of 112 Johnsarbor Dr. East, Rochester, NY, died Saturday, January 30, 2010. Born in Fairplay, SC, on July 13, 1922, at one time she owned two beauty salons (in Anderson, SC, and Lavonia, GA). Then she met and married Fred J., and they moved to Rochester where they lived for more than 50 years. Millie is predeceased by her parents, AnnieBelle Whitfield Callaham and Ligon Jefferson Callaham, 3 brothers Julian, Jack, and James, and her loving husband, Fred J. White. She is survived by daughter, Jacqueline (Richard) White Simak of Penfield, NY, granddaughter, Emmorie (Nicholas) Anschutz of Rochester, grandson, Jeremy Simak of E. Rochester, and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held March 7, 2010, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park at 2:00PM. Contributions in Millie's memory may be made to American Red Cross.
