Obituary of Jeannette Lucille Benson

Benson, Jeannette L. (Young) Fairport: January 5, 2014 at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by her husband, Monroe; son, James Monroe; brother, James H. Young and her parents, James T. & Laura Young. She is survived by a son & daughter-in-law, Scott Benson (Lorene); 2 daughters & sons-in-law, Cynthia Benson-Flaherty (David) & Susan Benson (Marty Kearney); grandchildren, Amanda (Andrew) Garner, Scott James (Erin) Benson, Vanessa (Matthew) Goodwin, Sean, Samantha & James Kearney; great grandchildren, Hannah, Jacob, Grant, Ruby, Kofi & Ari; sister-in-law, Nancy Young; nieces & nephews, Christine, Marsha, Mark & Peter and their families. Jeannette was a US Navy Veteran of WWII and attended Pennsylvania State University. A Memorial Service for Jeannette will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Pittsford (25 Church Street) on SATURDAY January 18th at 1:00pm (no prior calling).
