Obituary of Joseph Michael Zablotski

Pittsford: March 5, 2014. Predeceased in 2013 by his beloved wife, Zosia. Joseph leaves sons, Joseph Jr. (Theresa), Mark, Paul (Erica); grandchildren, Casimir, Aleksander, Greta & David; and sister, Adelia (Alfred) Banas. Born in New York City on May 4, 1927 to the late Joseph J. and Stefania Zablotski, Joseph was a graduate of both New York University and the University of Rochester. He lived, studied and worked in Rochester for the past 60 years. Joseph was active in the community, most notably with the Polish Heritage Society of Rochester. He was a devoted and proud husband, father, grandfather, brother, cousin and uncle who will be sorely missed. Friends may call FRIDAY 4-7pm at the HARLOFF Funeral Home 803 South Washington Street in East Rochester. Joseph's Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10am on SATURDAY, at St. Stanislaus Church (1124 Hudson Avenue) Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Please do not send flowers, but thoughts & remembrances of Joseph or a contribution in his memory to the Polish Heritage Society of Rochester would be gratefully appreciated.
