Obituary of Jean K. Lanni

Lanni, Jean (Kier) Macedon: Formerly of Fairport. Born on the Fourth of July, 1925; passed away peacefully on June 17, 2010 while warmly and lovingly embraced by her family. She is survived by the love of her life, David S. Lanni, Sr., her husband of 61 years; son, David S. Lanni, Jr. (Elaine S.); daughters, Andrea J. and Renee A. Lanni (Jeff Messmer); her beloved granddaughters, Adrienne Isabell Lanni and Eva Nicole Costanza; step grandchildren, Daniel R. and Alisha M. Messmer; step great-grandson Nicholas A.S. Messmer; brother, Gerald Kier (Marlene) and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews. Jean was predeceased by son-in-law, James S. Feely; brothers, Walter and Ronald Kier and sister, Shirley Merrick. Jean will be remembered for her nurturing spirit, her generosity, her concern and support for others in need, and her bright blue eyes and beautiful smile. She was our own July 4th sparkler. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the teams at Strong Memorial Hospital that helped us through this difficult time: Pulmonary and Respiratory Care, Palliative Care, and Chaplaincy Services.
