Obituary of Gerald S. Deni AIA, CSS

Deni, Gerald S. AIA, CCS Fairport: May 9, 2014 at age 86. Predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Jody Miceli Deni and his parents, Vincenzo & Clara (Giordano) Deni. Survived by his daughter, Charlotte Deni and granddaughter, Maria Spears of Orange, CA; siblings, Anthony (Josephine) Deni, Joseph (Carm) Deni, Mary (late Joseph) Vendetta & James (Grace) Deni, all of Batavia, NY and Carl (late Charlotte) Deni of Amherst, NY; several nieces & nephews. Gerald was a US Army Veteran, serving in Europe(1954-1956). He was a partner with his father in residential building construction, designing and building homes in the Batavia, NY area for many years. Gerald was an Emeritus member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) & the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI). In addition to his architectural work in Central & Western New York, Gerald spent more than 20 years working in Orlando, FL where he was a member and director of several organizations and received numerous awards from The Greater Orlando Chapter of CSI. Calling hours, TUESDAY 2-4 and 6-8pm at the HARLOFF Funeral Home, 803 South Washington Street in East Rochester. Gerald's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on WEDNESDAY at St. Louis Church in Pittsford. Entombment in White Haven Memorial Park.
