Obituary of David Sellers Lanni, Sr.

Lanni, David S., Sr. Fairport: May 14, 2014 at 95 years. Born April 26, 1919, namesake of Admiral David F. Sellers, former Commander-in-Chief US Naval Fleet, and close friend of David's father, Clement G. Lanni, a notable Rochester Prominente. David is survived by son, David S. Lanni Jr.; daughters, Andrea J. & Renée A. Lanni (Jeff Messmer); granddaughters, Adrienne Isabell Lanni & Eva Nicole Costanza; and step-grandchildren, Daniel R. and Alisha M. Messmer. Predeceased by wife, Jean Kier Lanni; son-in-law, James S. Feely; brother, Daniel G. Lanni Sr. and many, many close friends and family. David lived a long, rich life, and will remain a legend for his extraordinary talents that he shared with all who knew him.
