Obituary of Lois Jean D'Ambrosio

D'Ambrosio, Lois J. (Yandeau) East Rochester: August 13, 1927 - July 5, 2014. Predeceased by husband, Xavier (Dave). Survived by 2 sons, 3 daughters and their spouses, David D'Ambrosio (Kathy), Tad D'Ambrosio (Beth), Colleen Robinson (Michael), Robin DiFrancesco, Erin O'Connor (Michael), 7 beloved grandsons, 4 granddaughters, 2 great grandsons, 1 great granddaughter, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. An alumni of Green Mountain College, VT. Lois was the first East Rochester Animal Control officer. She established Chimneyhouse Kennels in her home, breeding and raising Bedlington Terriers for 40+ years. She was an active member of the Genesee Valley Kennel Club, Bedlington Terrier Club of America, NYS Animal Control Association, and Friends of the East Rochester Public Library. Family will receive friends at her home, 515 Sycamore St., East Rochester Thursday July 10 from 2 - 7PM. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
