DeCiantis, Giuseppa "Josephine" East Rochester: Passed away peacefully on September 1, 2014 at the age of 89. Predeceased by husband, Pasquale, and sister & brother-in-law, Angela (Natalino) Porretta. Survived by her son, Loreto; grandchildren, Carmin (Julia), Christopher (Alyssa) & Joseph (Amy) DeCiantis; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews, especially her devoted nieces, Pasqua “Patty” (Alex) Colasanto, Bruna Pescosolido and Marisa (Phil) DiFrancesco, siblings, Lidia Rocca, Antoinette Vitti and Igino Catallo in Italy. Josephine's greatest enjoyments were her family, spending time in her garden, cooking & baking. Friends may call FRIDAY 4-8pm at the HARLOFF Funeral Home 803 South Washington Street in East Rochester. Josephine's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on SATURDAY at St. Joseph's Church in Penfield. Entombment in White Haven Memorial Park. Those wishing may have Masses offered or make donations to Josephine's Parish (St. Jerome's Church in East Rochester) or Lifetime Care Hospice.
