Obituary of George Harwood Matthews

Pittsford, NY: April 3, 2015 at age 94. Predeceased by his wife Mary & brother, Ralph. George is survived by his daughters, Nancy (Ted Combs)& Megan Matthews; and granddaughter Kayla Matthews. George was the Village of Pittsford Treasurer for 31 years and a lifetime member of the Pittsford Volunteer Fire Department. Calling hours will be 4-7 PM on Monday at HARLOFF Funeral Home, 803 South Washington Street in East Rochester, where his funeral service also will take place at 10:30 AM on Tuesday.
