Obituary of Angeline M. Antonio

Angeline Mary (Agosto) Antoinio, "Nana" of East Rochester: born July 23, 1934, Angie passed away peacefully on May 25, 2015 after a 2 year battle with cancer. She is survived by her dedicated and beloved husband of 61 years, Jim; daughter, Josie (Dan) Keller; grandchildren, Katie and Collin; brother, Joseph (Michelina) Agosto; sister-in-law, Jennie Agosto; many nieces and nephews. Angie was predeceased by her precious son, Jimmy; parents, Amelia and Salvatore Agosto; brothers, Vincent and Louis Agosto; and nephew, Sammy. Angie was born and raised in East Rochester and lived there for her entire life. She was a wonderful homemaker who loved to cook and bake for family and friends. She was a proud member of the Rochester Sweet Adelines and was a longtime member of the Knitting Club. She also participated in many prayer groups with friends over the years. Her greatest joy came from being with her grandchildren, Katie and Collin. "Nana" was there for each and every event, proudly cheering them on, and she will be missed. A special thank you from the family to the caring staff of St. Ann's 5th floor for the extra love and affection shown to the Antonio family. Friends may call at Harloff Funeral Home, 803 S. Washington St., Friday 3-7PM. Angie's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 10 AM at St. Jerome's Church, 207 S. Garfield St., East Rochester. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park.
