Obituary of Anthony P. DiTucci

Anthony P. DiTucci Fairport: Tony passed peacefully with his family at his bedside on Wednesday June 3, 2015, 2 weeks after his 85th birthday and 4 days after his 62nd wedding anniversary. He was predeceased by his parents, Antonio and Anna (Cannella) DiTucci, brothers Jack and Salvatore, father-in-law and mother-in-law Sarafino and Cynthia ("Mary") DiMambro, sister-in-law Anne ("Honey") and brother-in-law Otis Davis, brother-in-law Alex Chiz. Tony is survived by his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Nancy (DiMambro) DiTucci, and by his beloved daughters Karen Bellini and Diane "Dee" DiTucci. He is also survived by sisters Mary (Joe) Sina, Louise (Ron) Love, brothers Joe (Mary Jane) DiTucci, John (Mary Ellen) DiTucci, Ralph A. (Maryann) DiTucci, granddaughters Jaime (Jason) Vassallo, Kristi Bellini (Russ Rehberg), Lindsey (John) Curatalo and sister-in-law Antoinette Chiz. "Papa Honey" is also survived and will be greatly missed by his adoring great-granddaughters Olivia Grace and Ava Jade Vassalo and Eliana Bella Curatalo, as well as many nieces and nephews. Tony's family would like to thank Dr. Gene Zito for the 36 years of extraordinary, devoted personal care and friendship that he provided Tony. Tony was a proud Military Police veteran of the U. S. ARMY and a retiree of the Rochester Gas and Electric, but his greatest pride was of the beautiful women and girls of his family. Per his request, there will be no prior calling hours. Friends and family are invited to attend Tony's funeral mass at the Church of St. Jerome, 207 Garfield Street, East Rochester (585-3237) at 10:00 am Saturday, June 6th, followed by internment at White Haven Cemetery, 210 Marsh Road, Perinton (586-5250). In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made in Tony's memory to the American Heart Association, Rochester General Cardiology Dept., or a charity of donors' choosing.
