I was very surprised to hear of the passing of Robert by a mutual friend this morning. I am sorry that I missed the services. Robert was a classmate of mine in grade school and high school. I remember how nervous he was when he moved to Rochester from NYC (I believe in 1st grade). We did a lot of things together when we were kids (playing baseball, basketball, cards) As we grew older we drank a lot of beer at PG's, played softball, stayed out until all hours of the night, and watched a lot of sports together. Go Steelers!
I will miss Robert. He was decent, honest, true to himself, and had strong morals. I hope that his children can make it through this tough time by being strong and believing in God's plan. And know that he will be accepted into God's new world for him.
