Obituary of Anthony LaFarciola

East Rochester: Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the age of 84, went to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving wife and devoted daughter and son. Anthony was preceded in death by his mother, Maria (Dellapietra); father, Pietro LaFarciola and brother, Aspirino LaFarciola. Anthony is survived by his wife of 58 years, Anna (Esposito) LaFarciola; daughter, Marisa (Albert) Ballatori; son, Paul (Beth) LaFarciola and grandchildren, Cristina Ballatori, Marco Ballatori, Emma LaFarciola, Grace LaFarciola and Leah LaFarciola; sisters, Anna (Giuseppe) Smargiasso, Concetta (Umberto) DiFlorio, Rose (Antonio) Fedele, Rosaria (Antonia) Caregnato and brother, Donato (Rita) LaFarciola. Anthony was a highly-respected member of St. Jerome's parish and actively involved in the church. His pride and joy, aside from his family, was his aromatic grape arbor in the back yard. He was a gentle soul who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Friends may call MONDAY 5-8pm at the HARLOFF Funeral Home 803 South Washington Street in East Rochester. All are invited to attend Anthony's Funeral Mass which will be celebrated at 10:00am on TUESDAY at St. Jerome's Church.
