Obituary of Angelina Morabito

Our loving mom, Angelina Morabito (Papa) of East Rochester, passed away on May 1, 2017 at age 101. She was predeceased by her husband, Dominic; mother and father, Carmella and Salvatore Papa; step-father, Nicola Ferranti; sisters, Virginia Glittone, and Isabelle Papa; brother, Sam; sister-in-law, Rosie. Angie is survived by her sons, Richard (Roxanne), Samuel (Marilyn) and Carmen (Sharon); grandchildren, Christina (Mark DeRosia) Morabito; Nicole (Revlyn) Wright, Peter Morabito, Jeffrey Morabito, Jacqueline (Peter) Mascaro, Julie (Bryan) Renica, Justin (Tracey) Morabito; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister and best friend, Josie (Fred) Galante; special niece, Kathy Young, good friends, Agata Piccirilli and Teresa Quinzi Willette; many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to granddaughter, Christina for the loving care during her later years. Angie was a longtime parishioner of St. Jerome's Church and a member of the Ladies Knights of St. John. She cared for the church linens for many years and was recently recognized by the Liturgy Committee by dedicating the linen drawer to her. Angie's love and dedication to St. Jerome's was and will continue to be an inspiration to many. Friends may call at Harloff Funeral Home, 803 S. Washington Street, East Rochester, Wednesday 4-8PM. Angie's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 10 AM at St. Jerome's Church, 207 Garfield Street, East Rochester. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Fairport.
