Obituary of Donna M. Rose
Donna (Weagley) Rose of East Rochester and Victor passed away peacefully at age 66 surrounded by her family in July 6, 2017. From her birth, May 11, 1951, to her death on Thursday she nourished people around her with love, faith and music. She is predeceased by her parents, Robert and Dorothy (Shortsleeve) Weagley and is survived by her husband, Francis; sons, Daniel and William (Heather); granddaughter, Mia; brothers, Dr. James Weagley and Ronald (Darlene) Weagley; sister-in-law, Jeanette Adam; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Her passion to tend to her 5 acres of garden and bringing fresh produce and flower bouquets to the Fairport Farmers market for the past 42 years was just one of her many hobbies. Donna was a math teacher for 35 years before retiring from Pal-Mac. She was a past president of Monroe Country Math league. She also worked as a bookkeeper for Brighton Pittsford Agency for seven years. She was an active member of the St. Louis church for her entire life where she enjoyed singing and traveling internationally with various choirs.
Calling hours will be 2-4 and 7-9PM on Sunday and Monday at Harloff Funeral Home, 803 S. Washington Street, East Rochester. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Tuesday at St. Louis Church, 64 South Main Street, Pittsford. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Louis Church or a charity of your choice.
