Obituary of Patricia Joan Kempf

East Rochester: Wife, Lover, Mother, Best friend, Confidante and Our Voyager; Patricia passed on on August 23rd at age 66, surrounded by loving family, after a long illness. She was both a hockey and dance mom. Pat loved to travel, from cold hockey rinks in Canada to the Caribbean and Europe; she also circled the globe twice. Pat's beautiful smile could light up a room yet her commanding stare could silence a table full of foolishness. She was considered more than a friend-by most, a sister. For many, Pat was their comfort zone. Patricia worked over 40 years in the Insurance Business and was one of the few agents in Rochester to hold a Lloyd's of London Brokers license. She was also a NYS Licensed "Party Aficionado". Pat is survived by her husband of 45 years, Alfred; children, Adam (Christy), Joshua (Gina), Elizabeth (fiancé Phillip); beloved friend, Leonita Paule; grandchildren, James, Colin, Marissa, Leonita, Andressa; siblings, Joseph (Kathleen), Betsy; a large and loving family from Long Island, NY; and many other relatives and friends. Friends and family are invited to call Sunday, August 27th from 1-5 PM at Harloff Funeral Home, 803 S. Washington Street, East Rochester. Funeral mass on Monday, August 28th at St. Jerome's Church, East Rochester. Interment at White Haven Memorial Park. The family would like to extend its gratitude to the University of Rochester Home Hospice Care for their compassion and professionalism in Pat's care.
