Obituary of Edward D. Seward Jr.
Formerly of East Rochester: October 27, 2017 at age 95. He was predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Beryl (Engert); grandson, Cole Seward; sisters, Nona Swikehardt, Jayne Stark & Sally Brothers-Morrison. He is survived by his children, Cindra Andrieu, Edward & Luke(Jean); grandchildren, Brian (Heaven) Donner, Stacie (Ken) Da Costa Fernandes, and Jackie, Noelle & Mitchell Seward; great grandchildren, Madison Shananhan and Kellan, Chase & Olivia Da Costa Fernandes. Ed was a career officer in the USAF, a former POW, and an avid sports fan. With his wife, Beryl, he traveled extensivly throughout the USA and abroad. They especially enjoyed their winters in Destin, Florida. He was most proud of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
There will be no prior visitation. Please join his family on Thursday, 10:30 AM at St. Jerome Church, 207 Garfield St., for his Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at White Haven Memorial Park, with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to St Jerome Church or the Veteran's Outreach Center, 447 South Ave., Roch., NY 14620.
