Kevin was a good guy. I remember the years at McQuaid and then we both went to RIT. Over the four years there we took many of the same classes and experienced many humorous moments. Although I have only seen Kevin a couple times over the years since, those recollections seem to have occurred not that long ago. My condolences to his family

Kevin was absolutely my most consistent and best friend in our 8 years together at Our Lady of Lourdes grammar school in Brighton. Golf, basketball at Brighton Middle school (sometimes shoveling snow to clear the court), or just hanging out at his house was always fun. (He was better than I at all of them!) Then on to McQuaid where I CLEARLY remember the incident in the basement bio lab of which Mr. Ladd wrote. My dad also volunteered at the LPGA Locust Hill tourney and commented every year that he saw Kevin there in his role as announcer. While we have not seen much of each other over the years, the articles about Kevin show that he has left his mark -- and it was a great one! My most sincere condolences to Kevin's family for losing a good man way to early.

Kevin as one of my first students when I began a 37 year teaching career at Mcquaid Jesuit. We referred to him as the "gentle giant" with a huge heart. I will always remember this hulking football player in one particular Biology Lab exercise. We were typing blood and he had this green tinge when it was his turn to be "stuck" with the lancet. As we did it, he proceeded to pass out and slide to the floor. Needless to say it took several of us to get him back on his feet. We all loved him tremendously. My condolences to you.
