Obituary of Joseph E. Fitzpatrick

Fitzpatrick, Joseph E. Pittsford: October 30, 2010 at the age of 79 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Josephine (Catalano); 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael & William (Barbara) and 2 grandsons, Peter & Thomas. Joseph taught in the Rochester City School District for 20 years and then went on to work for 20 years in the records department of the Monroe County Sheriff's Department retiring in 1997. He was a member of the Pittsford Volunteer Ambulance Corps since its' inception in 1971, retiring in 2001 after 33625 duty hours, but he remained active as an associate member until recently. Joseph's dedication to the Ambulance Corps earned him recognition as Pittsford's first Citizen of the Year in 1997. He was a US Army Veteran. Friends may call TUESDAY AFTERNOON 2-5pm at the HARLOFF Funeral Home 803 South Washington Street in East Rochester. All are invited to attend his Funeral Mass which will be celebrated at 10:00am on WEDNESDAY at St. John of Rochester Church in Fairport. Entombment in White Haven Memorial Park.
