On May 18, 2018 at age 97. Bethel is predeceased by her husband, Ivan; brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Maureen; granddaughters, Erin (Bill) Timmis, Meggan (Caleb) Massengill, Tegan Hayes; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Kate (Douglas) Ward; several nieces and nephews.

Services to be held privately per Bethel's wishes. Memorial contributions in Bethel's name may be directed to Camp Good Days and Happy Times.
