Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Servis

Servis, Mary Elizabeth "Mary Beth" (Peet) East Rochester: March 29, 2011 at age 64. I am predecased by my parents, Gladys and J. Dana Peet. I am survived by my husband, Harry H. Servis, III; my sons, Tod J. Servis and Andrew J. Servis; my brother, Stephen D. Peet (Patricia) and my nieces Bridget Peet Conger and Deidre Peet Baule; my "sister", Bonnie Rubenstein; and all my wonderful friends who prayed for me and comforted me during my battle with cancer. I graduated from Ohio Wesleyan Univ. and received my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Teaching from the Univ. of Rochester. I taught third and fourth grade at Scribner Rd. Elem. School in Penfield, NY for 33 years. After I retired, I volunteered at Scribner Rd. and at the East Rochester Elem. School. I continued to teach at Dayton's Corners Schoolhouse and tutored many children. Friends are welcome to call SUNDAY 5-7pm at the HARLOFF Funeral Home 803 South Washington Street in East Rochester. My Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Church of St. Jerome, 207 Garfield Street in East Rochester on MONDAY at 11:00am. Interment in White Haven Memorial Park.
