Obituary of Doris M. DeRycke

DeRycke, Doris M. (Rood) East Rochester: Thursday April 7m 2011 with her cherished children, Jane and Steven, by her side. Doris was predeceased by her parents, C. Elmer & Katherine Rood; brothers, Thomas & Robert Rood, and her husband, Clarence "Clink" DeRycke. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Carol DeRycke; her beloved grandchildren, Joyel (Roger) Bennett, Michelle (Jamie) Burkle, William (Sabrina) Burkle, Kristine (Bob) DeRycke, Bethany Gordon & Paul DeRycke; great grandchildren, Angel & Jayden Bennett, Vayda Burkle & Brody Allen; many nieces & nephews, and her family at the Fairport Baptist Homes. Doris will always be remembered for her strength, quick wit and loving heart. "The family would like to thank the Fairport Baptist Homes for making her last years wonderful, and the staff at Highland Hospital's East 5 Unit and VNS Hospice for making her last days peaceful."
