On this day (5/4/2021), I discovered the loss of Jerry. As a former student, I benefited from his guidance and kind heart. His integrity was second to none and I always respected him for integrity and high ethical standards. He was a great guy, and he will be missed. It is without saying that I wish I had kept in more frequent contact with Jerry. Time does go by quickly and we lose touch with people who we care about, respect, and hold in high esteem. Jerry will be missed. Rest in peace, my friend.

I wish we had talked more over the years. Jerry was a kind, and fun uncle, as well as my godfather. Time goes so quickly, and then parts of your life are gone. RIP, Uncle Jerry

Delores, Your husband, Jerry was at Fairport Baptist Home at the same time my husband, Larry was there - on the 3rd floor rehab section. We only spoke a couple of times, but did share some tears when we spoke - probably because we both knew what was ahead of us. Actually, Larry and Jerry were across the hall from each other. My heart goes out to you. Larry lost his battle with declining health on October 5th and our celebration of his life was last Saturday. I will be thinking of you,
Sue McNelly

I had Jerry for 3 of my doctoral courses in curriculum and teaching at the UofR. He was very helpful to students in seeing the marriage of theory and practice. Always appreciated his final class in the spring at his cottage on Conesus Lake.
