I am so sorry for your loss and am thinking of all my cousins who are grieving at this time. I will pray that you find comfort and peace in the Lord. I am also sorry about Covid restrictions but so glad they were lifted for immediate family. I have many fond memories of all of us playing in the park at the East Rochester apartment. I loved her dinner for us kids. Chicken broth and pasta. She wanted to make sure we would all sit still and get something in our bellies before we ran down to the basement to play. I am also thinking of all her siblings and the bonds they have made through their monthly lunches after Aunt Carol’s passing. Promising to never lose touch. Bob and I send our condolences to one and all
Blessings,
Sheila Scheffel

Betty was my dear friend for 37 years and the sister I never had. She was a wonderful friend, always positive, encouraging, uplifting, fun and generous of heart. She enriched my life and inspired me spiritually. Her inner strength and deep faith helped her to face life’s many challenges, including her cancer. What a testimony she was!
We shared our lives together through good times and bad times. I have so many sweet memories of the times we spent together and I will treasure them always. Friday night dinners together for years (Betty, Jean, and I), sometimes going to Salvatore’s, Cresent Beach, Ontario Beach Park (the carousel), Canandaigua Lake, Geneva Lake, family times at Darien Lake and her family cottage, just to name a few. Betty was a very special woman and her friendship was a gift from God.
I grieve her loss as I know her family and friends do, as well as so many who’s lives she touched during her cancer treatments, but what a comfort to know that she is with her beloved savior, Jesus Christ. I love you, Betty, and as you reminded me, we will see each other again in Heaven!
Sending prayers to her family for comfort and peace during this difficult time. Diane Kohlmetz

The sweetness of Betty will live in my heart forever. Always a smile and an encouraging word. She was one of God's greatest gifts. Thanks for all the memories Betty, for being able to meet most of your family and their kindness to me and my kids. For having the largest purse ever created and always having anything in it!! The Lord has welcomed Betty with opened arms and a WELL DONE MY FAITHFUL SERVANT. Love you dear friend. See you again!!
