Obituary of Betty Jane Provvidenza

***UPDATED*** It is with our profound sadness we announce the passing of Betty J. Seitzinger Provvidenza on May 17, 2020. She left us while sleeping peacefully at her home in Pittsford, New York surrounded by loving family. She was 75 years of age. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Vincent; beloved children, Joe (Sylvia) Parravano Jr., Kathy (Russ) Calcagno, Debra (Steve) Graziano, Lisa (Todd) Montanus, Vincent Provvidenza Jr., and Gina (Eric) Duffy; cherished grandchildren, Danielle, Domenic, Marcello, Gabriella, Michael, Jayden, Isabella and Ryan; siblings, Thomas (Carol) Seitzinger, Howard (Dana) Seitzinger, Bobbie (Jim) Webb, Gary (Verne) Seitzinger, Patricia Howell, Judy (Richard) Sweeney, Terri (Tom) Howell, Darlene (Steven) Brauer; many nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Mildred Seitzinger; daughter, Tina Hookway; granddaughter, Andrea Parravano; sister, Carol Jennings; brother-in-law, John Howell, Sr. Betty lived a full life as a loving and devoted wife, homemaker, mother, sister, friend, worker and walking testimony for the LORD to all. Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” She was an amazing example of true love, compassion, loyalty, kindness, forgiveness and loved everyone and everything around her without conditions. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Her legacy will live on through every life she has touched. A celebration of Betty’s life will be held Friday, July 10, 1 PM at Southeast Bible Baptist Church, 1850 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd (Route 250), Penfield, NY 14526. Entombment to follow at White Haven Memorial Park.
